Information We Collect

Wallify collects only the information necessary to provide the live event experience.

  • Organizer Account Information: Name, email address and authentication information for organizer accounts.
  • Anonymous Identifier: A randomly generated identifier stored on your device that allows Wallify to associate uploads from the same device and enables features such as deleting your own photos.
  • Uploaded Content: Photos you submit to event walls.
  • Event Data: Event participation, timestamps and moderation status.

Anonymous Identifier

When you first use Wallify without creating an account, we generate and store a random anonymous identifier in your browser.

This identifier is not used to directly identify you. It is used only to associate uploads from the same device and to allow you to delete your own photos.

If you clear your browser data, use a different device, or otherwise lose this identifier, Wallify may no longer be able to associate your previous uploads with you.

How We Use Your Information

  • Display approved content on live event walls.
  • Allow users to delete their own uploads when possible.
  • Enable organizers to moderate uploads.
  • Create event galleries when enabled.
  • Maintain platform security and prevent abuse.
  • Improve performance and reliability.

Photo Visibility

Photos uploaded to an event wall may be visible to other participants, event organizers and, depending on the event settings, may become part of a public or private gallery.

Please only upload content that you are comfortable sharing.

Data Sharing

Wallify does not sell your personal data. We only share information with trusted service providers necessary to operate the platform.

  • Supabase (database, authentication and storage)
  • Resend (email delivery)

Data Security

Your data is stored using industry-standard security practices. Only authorized organizers can access moderation tools for their own events.

Your Rights (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Union, you may have the right to:

  • Access your personal data.
  • Correct inaccurate information.
  • Request deletion of your personal data where applicable.
  • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
  • Request a copy of your personal data.

Anonymous uploads can normally be deleted while your device retains its anonymous identifier. If the identifier is lost (for example after clearing browser data or switching devices), Wallify may no longer be able to verify ownership of previous uploads. In that case, you may contact the event organizer to request removal of your content.
